KITTY BOOTCAMP

Now that the kittens are eating Mommy's food, they are naturally going to have to use the kitty litter box.  Kittens don't have to use the potty when they are newborns and will not up until they turn 3 or 4 weeks old.  They just produce a few drops of urine and from what I've noticed, are quite flatulent!

So, the first few poops happened in Mommy's bed (as opposed to kitties' bed), so I immediately put their poops into the kitty litter box and put all of the kittens in the box to show them where they are suppose to go.  So far, we haven't had any accidents - they all know where they need to do their business.

I find it odd that some of these kittens meow when they are pooping.  At first I thought they were having difficulties going #2, but apparently it's quite normal for kittens to meow when they are using the facilities.

It's weird that when one kitten needs to use the kitty litter, another one soon follows.  Some kitties, like Chachi, will wait patiently for their turn outside the box.  *SO CUTE*

Are you done in there yet?!

In addition to training them to use the kitty litter box, I've also gotten them trained to not fight me when I give them their little mani/pedis.  Some of the kittens struggle a bit more than the others, but with a quick tug at the scruff of their necks and a firm "No", they sit quietly in place until I'm done.

The next challenge:  Get them to all use the toilet - that would be awesome!
