ADOPTED: SEAK

When Seak's sister, Hide and her mommy, Peakaboo were adopted, the new owner was worried about leaving poor Seak behind.  I told her not to worry as I knew that Seak would have NO problems being adopted as she's such a beautiful, loving kitten.

I was right ... Seak was scooped up by a wonderful family from Richmond only two weeks later.  They saw Seak on the *VOKRA website, but didn't make immediate plans to see her and then noticed that she was taken off the site (as she was being viewed by the new owner of Hide and Peakaboo).  They were disappointed to say the least, but were excited when they saw her profile go back up onto the site again.

Any time there is a viewing, the cat/kitten being viewed gets removed from the website so that there won't be too many people queuing up to view one specific cat/kitten.

ADOPTED!  Seak - Aug. 22, 2014

Both owners have never owned a cat before, so I spent a few hours at each viewing to go over all their questions (and there were many)!  But I was more than happy to help.  That's what fosters do.

ALL IN A DAY

Now that was pretty fast!  Peakaboo and her kittens, Hide and Seak were put onto the VOKRA* website yesterday at 11:05 am and by 2:56 pm, I already had a viewing for Hide and Seak.  I had no doubt that the lady coming to view them would take one of them home.

To my surprise, she loved how cuddly and sweet mommy Peakaboo was and decided to take her home, along with Hide!  I guess when you are as loving and adorable as these sweethearts are, it's not too hard to find a furever home.

I'm sure they will be happy with their new owner, who seems very excited to welcome these two into her home.

KITTY SITTING

I haven't been able to commit to taking on another batch of kittens due to my work schedule.  I'm not sure when I'm going to be called out-of-town, so I can't really take in a litter not knowing if I can see them all through to adoption.

However, what I can do is cat sit for other fosters who are on holidays or cats that are at the VOKRA* facilities who just need more room to stretch their legs and roam around in a more spacious setting.

I am currently cat sitting a mommy cat (Peak-a-boo) and her two 4-month old kittens, Hide and Seak (both females).  Hide and Seak are almost identical in their coloring, so it took me a couple of days to differentiate the two of them.

Peak-a-boo is a very vocal, arm hugging, affectionate cat.  She loves to be pet and brushed and seems to pose pretty when having her picture taken.

I think this is my best angle!

... or maybe it`s this one!

Hide and Seak are not that easy to photograph.  Being kittens, they never sit still.  But when I do get them when they are peaceful, they are just adorable!

Identical Twins

Beautiful and so loving, I`m sure they`ll all find a home soon.
